MANDY VENTRICE

is an American recording artist, songwriter, and vocal producer from the Bay Area, California. Born and raised in a small suburb outside of San Francisco, she penned her first song by the age of seven with her father, also a musician and songwriter. She wrote, produced, and released her first E.P. independently by the age of thirteen.

Shortly after, she joined an all female pop vocal group based out of Boston where she frequently worked with songwriters Rich Cronin, Joshua Thompson, Shep Goodman, Aaron Accetta, and Louis Bell. The group gained substantial industry buzz, but parted ways in 2002. Mandy launched new solo efforts, and promoted her original material during acoustic performances in New York City clubs and venues such as The Bitter End, CBGB's, and The Mercury Lounge. She began performing in rock bands, touring with the likes of Panic! At the Disco, Shiny Toy Guns, and The Used.

In 2010, she released her first dance/pop single with American house DJ, Ian Carey. After reaching over a million views on YouTube, and appearing on various major compilation albums, she released a single with one of Germany's top DJ duos, The Michael Mind Project. The single charted on top 40 radio and the DJ dance charts in Europe. After the massive exposure of her previous releases, she landed a track on Alex Gaudino's album, Doctor Love, alongside Kelly Rowland, Jordin Sparks, and Jay Sean.

In the midst of her overseas success, Mandy moved back to Los Angeles to work with hip-hop producer, Just Blaze, on a track for Eminem's highly anticipated album, Recovery. Soon after, Mandy was enlisted to perform background vocals for Kanye West, Rick Ross, Jay-Z, and Charlie Wilson.

In December 2013, Mandy was signed by Kevin Weaver to her first major publishing deal with Atlantic Records where she worked on major motion picture soundtracks such as Furious 7 and Bright. She was also a featured vocalist on the incredibly and infectiously popular KPop boy band, BTS’s Rap Monster’s single for the Fast & Furious Franchise, called “Fantastic”.

In 2020, Mandy released an E.P. called, Second Thoughts, which she wrote remotely from her home studio during the pandemic with Netherlands based music producer, OHMR. Shortly after, she wrote a song called “Rise Up” with Chris Sernel (a.k.a. Oh, Hush!) for Operation Underground Railroad. Their song was featured on their worldwide campaign against human trafficking, and is still used today to promote awareness for the cause.

She currently resides in the Nashville area with her husband and two children where she writes for the TV/film industry, advertisements, and other recording artists. She continues to lend her vocals to various music projects for Disney, Amazon, Nickelodeon, Netflix, the Hallmark Channel, Bravo TV, and MTV to name a few. She has songs featured in major motion pictures such as, Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, and prime time television shows, The Mindy Project, Teen Mom, The Jersey Shore, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Real Housewives, and more.
